The project is a guidebook to different mushrooms found in Massachusetts which introduces nine selected fungi. Each spread contains a photo of the fungus, its common and scientific names, edibility, mycological characteristics, reported discoveries within Massachusetts, taxonomy, and description.
The idea is to provide basic knowledge about beautiful mushrooms in our neighborhood and encourage people to discover and identify them. A collector checklist is attached at the end, enhancing that playfulness of discovering.
